It doesn’t look like he skips his meals
He's gorgeous
What’s wrong with his skin? He’s a very handsome man but it’s like he’s a burn victim. 😢
He is a burn victim
@@elliottwalsh2 Poor guy :( But he’s absolutely an incredible talent and a great person. It’s so inspiring when people overcome their tragedies.
Exactly
Paganini liked that
He is talking about the variety of slides and shows 5 times the same slide 😂
Mr Repin better give lessons on how to collect putin's money
I would never teach myself or my students that my fingers can get to a point that they do not have to think. First: fingers do not have a brain of their own. Second: always be thinking. Practice without thought results in practice without progress. There are many books written on this concept. 2 examples: 10,000 Hours The Inner Game of Tennis
it’s just a way of expressing the fact that you can’t do an extremely fast passage consciously. of course you still have to think. but instead of thinking “this note, then the next” you think “3 octave a minor scale.” if you’ve played an a minor scale 10,000 times the same way, you can do it easily without “thinking,” and that’s the whole point of the video. this is like pretty standard stuff for advanced music training, not just violin lol
@@sergeirachmaninoff7805 I get that, but there are several layers to thought that you will want to use to develop that passage. Then, you can pick and choose from the thought layers you use.
It should never be robotic because you can’t program yourself like a robot.
Im having trouble understanding exactly what he means by catch
Exactly. Thats the problem.
I understood what he meant by 'Playing The Violin is not the goal' - when I stopped trying to 'Play' the instrument the music would happen well also listening for the resonance in the instrument over the played note is everything
Where is it possible to watch the whole concerto?
Regimen. Not regiment.
Not fast enough. Faster! 😊
Vibrato on the harmonic. Brilliant.
Not to intrude but what happened to your face
He was burned
One of the Best teachers here on tonebase, and amazing violinist!!
I remember when James Ehnes gave me this very same advice at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
Excellent
Master.
Awful sound and intonation honestly
Or just use fingered octaves
BRILLIANT ❤Thank you‼️
i thought that staccato and martele are slightly different and that what you are showing in this vid is called up bw staccato, but detache staccato is different from martele, or not?
The Best teacher and violinist!!!
Inspiring demonstrations!
The sound giver is cross. When you listen correctly whitout cross and left sectional but in one the clear tone Connect. The position of left is non important.
I always knew to breathe before beginning and breathe in between phrases, but i never thought about breathing out on down bows and breathing in on up bows but it makes so much sense!! I’ll definitely try this when the music aligns with healthy deep breathing patterns. Thank you so much!🎻🤎
It seems impossible for me😅
Yikes! This is hard, but I will try it. Thanks for breaking it down.
Onto som'n more amazing 👍
Whao❤❤❤ thanks so much for this video
♥️♥️♥️🎻
His clarity reminds me of Oistrahk.
💖
Hadelich's tips are mind blowing every single time
Thought you said lips for a second
@@turtle4283 lollll i should get cancelled then
Hammer Leistung, weiter so ❤
Whoa. I will try this.
One of the few people in the world who doesn't smack her lips or palate-clicks when she speaks, who also happens to be a great violinist <3
Very good insight!
Che bravo Madonna!! Uno dei grandi!
Excellent advice, thank you!
A shorter pinky nail would also help keep the pinky in place, flexible. Not sure why this is so rarely discussed but is it not obvious that if the nail is longer than the flesh it will be in the way?
Damn. He sounds amazing
Excellent point
That is so interesting!
No chin rest gangsta
원본 이건 몰랐는데 개똑디 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
When i listen to specifically this channel it always makes me worse at whatever its trying to teach for some reason
I’m seeing Hadelich perform in Wisconsin this month! 🎻✨
He's right!
